On Sunday, June 5, during “Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”, there will be changes in public transport traffic
On Sunday, June 5, in the period from 10:00 until approximately 17:00, due to “Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”, there will be changes in public transport traffic, and separate stops will be temporarily closed.
Buses
Buses route No. 10 from the final point “Abrenes Street,” will run along the route to the Stone Bridge, further along the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route. Whereas, to the final point “Jaunmārupe”, buses will run along the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, further along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turning point in the opposite direction, without going to Mūkusalas rotation circle, further along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the ramp to Bauskas Street, further along Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Stone Bridge and further along the route.
Buses route No. 12 in the direction of the final point “Cooperative society „Ziedonis””, will run along the route to Satekles Street, further along Satekles Street, 13 January Street, 11 November Embankment, the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further along the route. In the opposite direction, buses will run as usual, without changes.
Buses route No. 23 in the direction of the final point “Baloži”, will run along the route to the Stone Bridge, further along the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, further along the route to Ziepniekkalna Street, along Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further along the route. Whereas, in the direction of the final point “Abrenes Street,” buses will run along the route to the highway A7, further along the highway A7, Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, further along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Stone Bridge and further along the route.
Buses route No. 26 in the direction of the final point “Katlakalns”, will run along the route to the Stone Bridge, further along the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route. Whereas, in the direction of the final point “Abrenes Street”, buses will run along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Stone Bridge and further along the route.
Buses route No. 13, 30, 37, 41, 53 during the cycling marathon, from Pārdaugava to the centre of Riga, will run along the Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway.
Trolleybuses
Trolleybuses route No. 4 to the final point “Ziepniekkalns” and back to the final point “Jugla”, will run along the Island Bridge, without entering Mūkusalas rotation circle. The stops “Lucavsala” and “Mūkusalas rotation circle” will be closed in both directions of the traffic.
Trolleybuses route No. 5. in the direction of the final point “Daugava Stadium” will run along the Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway.
Trolleybuses route No. 19 in the direction of the final point “Ziepniekkalns” and back to the final point “Pētersalas Street”, will run straight along the Island Bridge, without entering Mūkusalas rotation circle. The stops “Lucavsala” and “Mūkusalas rotation circle” will be closed in both directions of the traffic.
Trolleybuses route No. 25 in the direction of the final point “Iļģuciems”, will run along the Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway. In the direction of the city centre, the stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway. In the opposite direction, trolleybuses will run as usual, without changes.
Trolleybuses route No. 27 in the direction of the final point “Stacijas laukums”, will run along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Stone Bridge. Whereas, to the final point “Ziepniekkalns”, trolleybuses will run along the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route. During the cycling marathon, in the direction of the final point “Stacijas laukums”, the stops “Laivu Street”, “Mūkusala” and “Kīleveina grāvis” will be closed, and in both directions of the traffic - the stop “National library”.
